Transaction streams

There are four transaction options on the View > Transaction menu that relate to transaction streams:

• Active.Transaction

• InActive.Transaction

• Old.InActive.Transaction

• OS.Stream

If the Active.Transaction and Inactive.Transaction menu items are selected, all transaction streams are shown. The line color of inactive transaction streams is grey.

If you select the Inactive Transaction menu item again to uncheck it, all inactive transaction streams with grey line are hidden.

If you uncheck the Transaction menu item, all transaction streams are hidden. In addition, the Inactive Transaction menu is enabled.

Sometimes, a movement line may be unused for a very long period. However, it will still appear as Inactive transaction and a gray line will be there with no events in the past 60 days (no event in 60 days of pre-fetched data). However, you do not want to delete the stream completely as you want to keep the record of all past events (retention policy for audit etc.).

Old InActive Transaction in the View menu enables it such that streams with no events in the prefetched data not appear even when InActive Transaction is checked visible if Old InActive Transaction is unchecked invisible.

But if Old InActive Transaction is unchecked invisible, it takes time to first open the model to check if the past events for all movement streams exist or not.
