Create, delete, and move stream objects

Create a stream object

Press the stream tool you want to use to select it.

Left-click once within the balance object you wish to designate as a source object and keep the mouse button pressed.

Drag the mouse into the area occupied by the desired destination balance object and release the mouse button.
This links the two objects using the handles as connection points. You may choose to allow AVEVA Production Accounting to choose which handles to use, or you can be specific by beginning and ending your dragging on specific handles. To make the handles visible, left-click the object(s) before beginning your drag.
When a line appears, the stream object has been created.
The underlying data model is not sensitive to which handles were used to indicate linkage. The use of the handles is solely to improve the appearance on the screen.
Delete a stream object

Select the stream object by clicking on it with the selection tool, and then press the DEL key on your keyboard.
AVEVA Production Accounting will display a confirmation dialog to ensure that you do not accidentally delete an object.
Move a stream object
Moving a stream object consists of either:
Move the objects to which the stream connects

Left-click on the object, and drag it to a new position, and then release the mouse button.
Change the choice of objects to which the stream connects

Position your mouse over an end point of the stream, which is the connection point to the source or destination.

Hold the left mouse button down and drag the end point until it is over another balance object.

Release the mouse button and AVEVA Production Accounting will redraw the stream.
In both cases, the actual screen position of the stream is adjusted by the AVEVA Production Accounting software.
Moving the balance objects is achieved by pressing the left mouse button while the mouse is over them, then dragging while holding the button down.
Example: If you move the destination end of the stream from NO2 to NO3, the destination of the stream object will be changed to NO3. You can check it by opening the detail dialog box of the stream object.
