Allow exporting data after the period is protected

If the Allow exporting data after the period is protected option is enabled, it allows export of data even though the period is protected.

About protected periods

If the administrator user of AVEVA Production Accounting closes the period, systematic jobs such as importing data, running tracking and data reconciliation, exporting data are protected for the closed period, and so the event data for this period shall not be changed by the systematic jobs.

The event data changes made by manual jobs, such as manual data input, shall also be protected by this closed period protection.

The event data can be changed from the changes of the design data such as, the changes of flow rate equation to meet the data consistency, but the event data change by the manual jobs shall be protected.

The following procedure describes how to protect closed period:

  1. Select the Period menu.

  2. On the Period menu, select Protect.

    The period is now locked and protected from further changes.

  3. If you try to perform one of the following scenarios, the respective error message will appear:

    • Run the systematic jobs for the closed period with protection

    • Manually change the event data such as, stream flow quantity

      208.Allow_exporting_data(5)
