Flow diagrams

PFDs (process flow diagrams) and P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams) enable you to represent your plant as a drawing which is called a flow diagram.

Create an object on the flow diagram

• Drag the appropriate objects to the drawing window.

  A new object is created.

  

Tip: If you want to draw your objects so that they align horizontally and vertically, select the View > Grid > Snap to Grid menu item, so that the drawing objects are aligned to the grid.

The default settings for objects can be specified on the General Format Property dialog box.
