Create a trend window

A trend window can be created by any of the following methods.
Method 1

In the drawing window, double-click a stream, node, or tank object.
A window appears.

In the Results tab, in the Common Results section, double-click one of the following properties:

Density
-
Temp
-
MW
-
Press
A Graph window related to the selected property appears.

In the Graph window, in the Property Name section, select one or more properties as required.

Select Update.
The graph is updated related to the selected properties.
You can open a trend related to a process as follows:

Double-click on a process.
A window appears.

In the Results tab, in the Rundowns section, select one or more records.

Right-click on the NO column.

Select Trend.
A Graph window related to the selected property appears.
Method 2

In the drawing window, select a stream, node, process, or tank object.

Perform one of the following as required:

Select
on the standard toolbar.

In the View menu, select Trend.
A trend graph appears displaying the measured and reconciled volume or mass values of the selected object.

Method 3

Select
on the standard toolbar.
A Graph window appears.

In the Graph View Item area, in the Class Name section, select an object type.

In the Object Name section, select one or more objects.

In the Property Name section, select one or more properties.
The graph is updated related to the selected objects and properties.
Note When using the other methods to bring up trends, you also always end up with the Trend dialog box showing, at which time you can choose to change which object you are displaying or choose additional objects
Print a trend window

To print a graph from the Trend window, select File, and then select Print.

To change the layout of a graph with with multiple trends, select Window, and then select one of the following:

Horizontal
-
Vertical
-
Cascaded
-
ArrangeIcons
