The main features of data reconciliation in AVEVA Production Accounting DR are as follows:
-
AVEVA Production Accounting performs data reconciliation using a sparse matrix method which runs very fast. AVEVA Production Accounting takes 3 to 5 seconds with about 1000 flows where other data reconciliation programs often take 1 to 2 minutes.
-
When AVEVA Production Accounting encounters certain types of problems that may stop the reconciliation process in other data reconciliation programs, or cause them to produce unusable results, AVEVA Production Accounting handles those problems in a way that allows the reconciliation to complete and produce usable results. Examples of such problems are: nonsolvable flows and flows related to balance points consisting of only input flows or only output flows.
-
You can define boundary conditions and additional linear constraints for measured and unmeasured flows, in which case AVEVA Production Accounting detects whether the reconciled values satisfy these constraints. (Refer to section Data Reconciliation with User Added Boundaries/Linear Constraints, for more about boundary conditions.) If the boundary constraints are not satisfied, AVEVA Production Accounting reruns the data reconciliation with an optimization subroutine to satisfy these constraints.
This figure is the overall flow diagram for the data reconciliation process in AVEVA Production Accounting.
