Use Multi User Protection to protect editing when other users were logged in

The multi user protection functionality is available when the Use Multi User Protection to protect editing when other users were logged in option in Option dialog box is selected. The functionality prevents multiple users with Writable permission from editing the application models at the same time.

For example, if a user with Writable permission logs in when there are other users with Writable permission already logged in, the login status of the user is displayed as ReadOnly. The user has limited access to the ReadOnly permission rights and can regain the Writable permission rights after the other users log out.

The login status in the status bar displays your permission type.

• If you have Writable permission but it displays ReadOnly, wait for some time and then select the status bar.

  

  If the other users have logged out, your login permission changes to Writable.
