Properties

If there is no selected object in the drawing, the Format menu will display only the Properties menu item enabled.

General format properties

This Properties menu item opens the General properties tab of the Format dialog box for the drawing. The Format dialog box enables you to set the default format for the various types of drawing objects. As each object is created, it receives this default format.

Properties for selected object

If there is a selected object in the drawing such as, a stream or balance object, the Properties menu will display the object property tab items of the Format dialog box. See Format Properties of balance objects.
