Select objects on the flowsheet

The following procedure describes how to select an object on the flowsheet:

1. On the drawing toolbar, select the relevant object.

2. Drag the cursor on the flowsheet to place the object.

   The selected object appears on the flowsheet with square markers in the corners, known as handles.

   

3. Move the selected object by pointing to the drag marker and dragging.

4. Resize it by dragging a corner.

Note that double-clicking the object presents the object detail dialog for that object.

Tip: When you hold the mouse pointer over a flowsheet object, an information panel showing the associated flow amounts appears. While this is usually helpful, at times you may wish to disable the feature to gain an uncluttered view of the flowsheet. To disable it, right click once on the blank background of the flowsheet. To enable the feature again, right click again on the background.
