AVEVA Production Accounting interfaces with MS Access database by using OLE-DB provider (Microsoft Jet x.x OLE DB Provider). The user can recognize that the provider name changes to Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.x.x in the text box.

  • Create Tables in the Network Database: Press this button to create all the necessary tables in the network database, if these do not exist. If a table to be created already exists, an error message will pop up and the action fails.

  • Save All Current Data into the Network Database: Press this button to save all current data in memory to the configured network database. The confirmation dialog prompts for confirmation before AVEVA Production Accounting performs this action. Exercise caution when doing this since the existing data in tables will be deleted before the new data is saved, after which the previous data cannot be recovered.

  • Save Current Model Data into the Network Database: Press this button to save only current model data in memory to the configured network database. Select Yes to confirm the action.

The object name is unique and the same object name is not allowed in AVEVA Production Accounting GUI, but the AVEVA Production Accounting database allows the same object name with the different model name because the existing model can be copied to the new model with the different service datetime of the model.

If you save the current model data into the network database and the other models in the network database have the same object name, the object name can be duplicated in the different model.

AVEVA Production Accounting checks the duplication of the object name when you open the model and you can change object name when it is duplicated with message dialog box.

The model connector (static model) object name is duplicated as shown below.

The node (static node) object name is duplicated shown below.

The stream (static stream) object name is duplicated as shown below.

The process (static process) object name is duplicated as shown below.
