Configure the interface source for PI

Select the Tools menu.

On the Tools menu, in the Tools group, select Option.

The Option dialog appears.

Select Interface Source tab.

Right-click on No..

Select New.

A new interface source is added.

Enter the interface source name.

Select the Source Type drop-down.

A list appears.

Select PI.

Select Connection Check.

If the connection is successful, the status displays OK.

Select ... next to Source Type.

The RTDB(Real Time Database) Connection dialog appears.

In the RTDB(Real time Database) Information section, define the connection to the RTDB server with the following details:

• User Name

• Password

• Server Name

Select Test Connection.

Select OK.

The PI_Server interface source is configured to obtain data from the RTDB provider PI.
