The menu items under the Tools menu each invoke a tabular dialog box that presents database content.
Note Regular users have view-only access to the data, but administrators can change and save the data. When data is changed in this fashion, the changes are not reflected in the view of the active model shown on the main Drawing Window. For this reason, editing is restricted to administrators only, who are advised to use caution when editing.
If necessary, close and reopen the model to refresh the data in the Drawing Window after editing.
Menu options
These menu options appear on the Tools menu.

Description |

Opens the Object.Contents dialog box, which shows all objects and their properties in the database. |

|
Opens the Table Contents dialog box, where you can directly query the data in the database. Administrators may edit the data in this dialog but see the warning below. |

Opens the Interface Information dialog box, where you can edit the database records that define how AVEVA Production Accounting will interface to external systems. |
|
|
|
Opens the Tag Information dialog box, where you can define and edit tags. Process historian tags can be assigned to these tags and stream or tank object use these tags as measurement points. |

|
Opens the Logic Information dialog box, where you can edit the Logic Tags. |
|
|
|
Opens the Analyzer Information dialog box, where you can edit the analyzer objects. Laboratory component analysis samples can be assigned to these analyzer objects. Analyzer objects can have many components. Usually, they are used for GC analysis data of process gas. |

|
Import the static data of the objects as CSV file.
|
|
|
Opens the Option dialog box, where you can set the various options and common properties, such as component list, product list, engineering unit, or data reconciliation solver options. |

User Admin |
Opens the User Administrator dialog box, where the administrator user can edit the user information. This menu is enabled only for administrators and is only enabled when using a relational database that supports user definitions, such as Oracle, to store data. |

|
Data Audit |
Checks audit data details such as, value changes, object changes, property changes, reason for change and so on, in all available models. This menu is enabled only for administrators. |

|
Action Log Query |
Queries action logs and displays them in a table. All current and previous queries can be accessed from this table. This menu is enabled only for administrators. |
