Double-click a stream object to display the detail dialog for a stream.
You can edit and view data on this screen.
Stream details dialog
Stream objects have two main types of tabs in the dialog for entering and displaying data. These are Static and Event tabs.
Across the top of the dialog box there are five tabs, divided conceptually into two groups:
-
Static Detail tabs — where you edit static data for the stream.
-
Event Detail tab (labeled Results) — where you edit variable or event data for the stream.
The remainder of the dialog’s visual area is divided vertically into two frames, known as the Static Details and the Event Details. The Static Details are associated with the Static Detail Tabs, and the Event Details are associated with the Event Detail Tab (labeled Results).

Legends
-
Static Detail tabs: The first four tabs along the top choose different sets of static information and display it in the top frames where it can be viewed and edited. While editing static data, some event information will remain visible in the Events frame in the lower portion of the dialog.
-
Event Detail tab: The information in the Event Detail Tab always relates to what is on the Results tab.
-
Event Detail frame: There are several rows visible in the table portion, each representing an event (normally one per period, but you may have more than one per period). The row that appears green corresponds to the period depicted on the Main Drawing Window. The row that appears blue is the selected period, for which results are shown above in the frames under the Result tab. A row may be both blue and green, as shown in the screenshot above.
Many aspects of an event’s data are calculated or filled in using the static when a new event is created. For example, the measured data in an event comes from the measurements defined in the static data for the stream. For instance, if the density for a given stream is set to 0.9 in the static data, that is the density that will be used in any required calculations to fill in the results for any new event being created for that stream.
Events can be edited in the Results tab (Events frame) after they have been created.
