Install and deploy AVEVA Production Accounting

Configure AVEVA Local licensing

You can license AVEVA Production Accounting using the AVEVA Licensing System. The AVEVA Licensing System is supplied through the AVEVA Knowledge & Support Center webpage. The download contains an installable version of Microsoft’s .NET Framework, installation, and usage instructions. It is recommended that you carefully read all the installation instructions before installing the software.

Perform the following installation steps to deploy the on-premises version of AVEVA Production Accounting.

Install AVEVA Production Accounting

1. Right-click on the Setup.exe and select Run as administrator.

   

2. Select Next.

3. Agree to the terms of the license agreement, and select Next.

   

4. If you are installing AVEVA Production Accounting for the first time, specify the destination folder. Select Next and perform one of the following actions:

   • Choose the default installation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\AVEVAProductionAccounting.

   • Specify the location where you want to install AVEVA Production Accounting.

   

   If you already have any previous version of AVEVA Production Accounting installed on your machine, the same folder is automatically selected.

   Note: If you face an issue with the installation of AVEVA Production Accounting Help, select No from the Aveva Help Enabled dropdown in the installer window. To refer the AVEVA Production Accounting Help documentation separately, access it from C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\AVEVAProductionAccounting2025\Docs folder.

5. Select Next.

   Security type AVEVA Local is selected by default. Specify the machine name where the license server is installed.

   

   Note: If you want to change the security type to FNP, select AVEVA Local dropdown and select FNP 1116/19.

6. Select Next.

7. Select Install.

   

   The installation begins and after some time a screen indicating completion of the installation displays.

   

8. Select Finish to complete the installation and exit.

   

Enable FNP licensing for an existing machine/server containing earlier versions of AVEVA Production Accounting

9. Navigate to the install location for an existing install of AVEVA Production Accounting. For example, for the 2023 version, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\AVEVAProductionAccounting2023\.

10. Copy the Security and Licensing folders.

11. Paste these folders to the install location for AVEVA Production Accounting 2025.2 or later.
