The automatic execution AVEVA Production Accounting is defined as executing data reconciliation at a predefined time by using the Windows Task Scheduler. You may wish to use this feature to ensure that one execution of the reconciliation algorithm has been performed on the previous day’s data, before the next work day begins. AVEVA Production Accounting Data Reconciliation’s execution time is very short. If you wish to rerun reconciliation after making adjustments, you will find that execution does not take much time. In that way the nightly execution is a convenience rather than a necessity.
To set up a nightly execution, you can follow the steps outlined in this section. Depending on your exact version of MS Windows, the dialogs may look different in minor ways. Running AVEVA Production Accounting nightly is typically done on a Windows server but may be done on any MS Windows computer that has AVEVA Production Accounting installed.

Run the Windows Task Scheduler application, right-click on the Task Scheduler Library, and select Create Basic Task.

-
Name your task and add a description. Click Next.

-

ON parameter
Add one parameter, "ON", to the command line that will launch AVEVA Production Accounting. One space should precede it. The parameter "ON" indicates that AVEVA Production Accounting should automatically execute. If you supply no further command line arguments, the model that will be opened and reconciled is determined by the database and model saved in %AppData%\Roaming\AVEVA\AVEVA Production Accounting\\PFD.INI. You may override this choice by supplying further command line parameters as described in section Starting AVEVA Production Accounting.
When AVEVA Production Accounting executes automatically, AVEVA Production Accounting reconciles the period corresponding to "yesterday" as determined from the Windows system time.
AVEVA Production Accounting then executes the following steps sequentially and finally, exits automatically.
-
File > Get Tag Data
-
Run > Tracking
-
Run > Reconcile
-
File > Export DR Data
-
File > Save All
