Search by reference

This feature searches all calculation equations of Smart Objects, Smart Constraints, and Logic Tags corresponding to the selected object. If the selected object is referred in the equations, the equations are displayed with descriptions.

NOTE: Ensure that you use CTRL+SHIFT+ V key to copy paste the search criteria in the Search list box.

The following procedure describes how to search by reference:

1. Enter an object name in the object dropdown combo box.

2. Select the button on the right side of the object dropdown combo box.

   

   If the selected object is referred in the equations, The Search by Reference for Object dialog appears.

   

3. On the reference table, double-click a reference equation.

   The reference object’s detail dialog appears and the reference object is displayed on the flow sheet.
