Table objects

Table objects permit you to manipulate data for creating reports.

Access the table dialog

• Double-click a table object to display the detail dialog box for a table.

  

Table objects

A table object is a spreadsheet, similar to those created by Microsoft Excel, used to extract, manipulate and present data from the properties of AVEVA Production Accounting objects. A table allows you to leverage the value of the Smart Objects feature by letting you draw data from AVEVA Production Accounting objects which may be calculated data or even data drawn from external data sources.

Formulas

There are two powerful formula methods available to fill in a table cell:

• AVEVA Production Accounting Equations

• Spreadsheet formulas (similar in nature to those of Microsoft Excel)

Edit tables

You can edit a table in two ways:

• By using the Open Worksheet button to open the Workbook Designer.

• By editing the table directly on the Table object dialog box.

The details of how you edit table cells differ slightly depending on which editing method you use.
