Accuracy Report

The Accuracy Report offers a detailed analysis of reconciliation accuracy for a defined time period. This report helps in estimating reconciliation values based on historical data and comparing these estimates with current reconciliation values. If there is a significant deviation or spike in the current reconciliation from the historical behaviour, the report flags it as a low-accuracy reconciliation. This diagnostic capability helps you identify inaccurate reconciliation tags automatically and resolve them faster.

Accuracy Report allows you to select a historical reconciliation date range to compare against a specified reconciliation day. Algorithm calculates a reliable Reconciliation Factor (RA Factor) by filtering out outliers from the historical data. This RA Factor is then used to generate an estimated reconciliation value for the specified date.

By default, Accuracy Report is generated based on mass data. However, it can be changed to volume if required.

Calculate reconciliation value for a stream

  1. Select the File menu.

  2. On the File menu, in the Data & Report group, select Report.

    A menu appears.

  3. On the menu, select Accuracy Report.

The Reconciliation Accuracy Report dialog appears.

    Recon_Accuracy_Report(1)

  4. Select the Balance Type as Mass or Volume.

  5. In the Historical Period Data Selection section, select the Start Date and End Date.

  6. In the Accuracy Report Period section, select the Start Date and End Date.

  7. If you want to eliminate flowrate that is less than a specified value, perform the following actions:

    • Select Threshold Flowrate > checkbox.

    • Enter a value in the Threshold Flowrate > box.

Raw value less than the specified value is filtered out from the report.

  8. Select Generate Report.

The reconciliation accuracy report is generated.

Export calculated RA factor to database

  1. Double-click a stream.

  2. Select Design Info tab.

  3. Select Export RA Factor tab.

The RF Vol and RF Mass details of the stream are displayed.

    Recon_Accuracy_Report(2)

    • Select Vol Export.to export the volume based RA Factor.

Mass based RA Factor is exported by default.

  4. Select the Edit Export Flow Tag button next to the Tag Name drop-down.

The Edit Tag Information dialog appears.

  5. Configure the tag information.

  6. Select OK.

Data is exported to the selected interface source.

For more information on how to configure the interface source, see Interface Source tab.

  7. Configure respective interface info to export RA Factor.

For more information on how to configure interface info, see Edit Interface Information properties.

Export the tag data of multiple streams with RA Factor

    1. Perform steps 1-7 in Export calculated RA factor to database for all relevant streams.

    2. Select the File menu.

    3. On the File menu, in the Data & Report group, select Report.

    4. On the menu, select Accuracy Report.

The Reconciliation Accuracy Report Data dialog appears.

    5. Populate Start Date and End Date in the Historical Period Data Selection and the Accuracy Report Period sections.

    6. Select Generate Report.

      The report is generated.

    7. Select Export.

Streams configured with the selected RA Factor tag are exported.

      Accuracy Report example

In the following image, the accuracy report is generated based on historical data for period 9/1/2015 to 9/24/2015. In this period, the RA Factor for each stream based on mass data is calculated by eliminating outliers. The calculated RA Factor is applied for the period 9/25/2015 and raw data and estimated value is calculated.

The accuracy of individual stream measurement is calculated by comparing the estimated value generated as per this report and the reconciled value calculated by AVEVA Production Accounting algorithm.
