Configure the interface source for OPCUA

On the Interface Source tab, add a new interface source.

Enter the interface source name.

On the Source Type dropdown list, select OPCUA.

Select ... next to Source Type.

The RTDB(Real Time Database) Connection dialog appears.

In the RTDB(Real time Database) Information section, define the OPCUA data source with the following details:

• Username: Can be left blank if the server supports anonymous setting.

• Password: Can be left blank if the server supports anonymous setting.

• Server Url: Web URL where the OPC UA server is running. Can be left blank if the server supports anonymous setting.

Select next to the Server Node to browse all connected server nodes.

The Select Server Node pop-up window appears.

Expand the required server node and select the tag to capture the node information.

Select OK.

The Server Node is populated with the selected node details.

Select Test Connection to test the connectivity.

Select OK.

The interface source is configured to obtain data from the RTDB provider OPCUA.

Note AVEVA Production Accounting automatically gets the node information from the tag name. You only need to configure the tag details in Edit Tag Information dialog.
