Access AVEVA Production Accounting – Web on different machines on the network

To access the web application from a different machine other than the one where it is deployed, create a new firewall rule to allow access to both the client and server ports.

The following procedure describes how to create a new rule:

  1. Open Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security.

  2. in the Inbound Rules section, select New Rule....

    The New Inbound Rule Wizard dialog appears.

  3. In the Rule Type section, Select Port.

  4. Select Next.

  5. In the Protocol and Ports section, select the following fields:

    • TCP

    • Specific local ports

  6. In the Specific local ports box, enter a local port.

  7. Select Next.

  8. In the Action section, Select Allow the connection.

  9. Continue to the Name section.

  10. In the Name section, enter the rule name and description.

  11. Select Finish.
