This section describes properties on the Product tab of the Options dialog box.
On the Product tab, you can edit product lists and product groups.

A Product is defined by a product name, which may be the name of a feedstock (for example "West Texas Crude"), intermediate product (for example "No. 2 Side-Cut"), or final product (for example "Premium Unleaded Gasoline"). You can add products using the Product tab and these products can be used in reporting, and production accounting. The products are grouped into product groups. Examples: The crude or naphtha group is especially useful for composition tracking in tanks. Crude species can be grouped such as ASPHALT (Asphalt Crude Group), LS (Low Sulfur Crude Group), or HS (High Sulfur Crude Group). |
Change product names
You can change the product name for each product table name in the Change Product Name for All Tables field.
AVEVA Production Accounting supports the name change in the equation or the Product Code in case of Product name changes, when the name changes for Product, Product Group, Property, Component or Process Unit in Option dialog box.
