Correct the imbalance of a tank

Adjust the reconciled imbalance values related to the mass or volume of a tank. To review the reconciled imbalance of a tank, see Check the imbalance of a tank. You can either enter the mass or volume imbalance value in the Design Info tab. If both mass and volume imbalance values are specified, the system will only use the mass value to correct the tank imbalance.

1. Double-click a tank in the Design Window.

   

   The Tank dialog appears.

2. In the Tank dialog, select the Design Info tab.

   

3. Perform one of the following as required:

   • In the Mass tab, enter a mass imbalance value in the Imbalance field.

   • In the Volume tab, enter a volume imbalance value in the Imbalance field.

4. Select OK.

5. Select the Run menu.

6. On the Run menu, in the Run group, select Reconcile.

   The tank color changes based on the reconciled imbalance value.
