Configure export tags for PI

Configure export tag to export the reconciled value to the PI_EXP_IF interface. You can add a new export tag.

1. Double-click 01FC001 stream.

   The stream detail dialog appears.

2. Select Design Info tab.

3. Select the Edit Flow Tag button.

   The Edit Tag Information dialog appears.

4. Right-click on No. and select New.

   A new export tag is added.

5. Configure the new export tag with the following properties:

   

   Legends:

   • 1. Name: Tag name used.

   • 2. Type: Tag type. The different types of tag types are F (Flow rate), I (Inventory volume), T (Temperature), P (Pressure) and L (Laboratory).

   • 3. Att: Tag attribute. The tag attribute type should be A (Average).

   • 4. Interface Name: Interface name. For example, if you select the PI_EXP_IF interface name, the reconciled data is exported to the PI server.

   • 5. Tag Name: The actual tag name used in PI.

   • 6. Eng. Unit: Engineering unit of reconciled value.

6. Select OK.

   The newly created export tag is appears in the Tag Name drop-down.

   

7. Select the Edit Flow Tag button again.

   The Edit Tag Information dialog appears.

8. Right-click on No.. and select Export.

   The reconciled value is exported to the defined PI export tag.
