These properties appear in the General Info frame on the Information tab.
-
Process Name: Enter a unique name for the object. You can choose to display the information for another existing object, if you click the combobox and select another object’s name, but AVEVA™ Production Accounting will first ask you whether you wish to save the current object’s information.
-
Balance Type: The default balance type when a process object is created is the primary balance type on the Eng. Unit tab of the Options dialog box. You can also select MASS or VOLUME or BOTH (MASS and VOLUME) as the balance type.

Process objects will generate balance equations of the selected type in addition to the primary balance on the Options dialog box, if the selected type differs from the primary type. When you run data reconciliation, the primary balance type in the Options dialog box and the balance type of each balance object (process, node or tank) determines the type of balance DR Solver performs.

-
Tracking: Select whether the process is included in composition tracking. If selected, the streams around the process will be simulated by composition tracking.
-
Show Information: Select whether the process information is displayed on the model flowsheet drawing or not. If you check this checkbox, an information label for the process is shown on the model drawing.
-
Rundown Stream Distribution from Feed Stream: This option is used when the feed streams to the process are constant (tolerance=0) and you want to distribute the rundown streams as the ratio of their measured values.
If you run data reconciliation with this option disabled, the reconciled values for the rundown streams of the process will be by normal data reconciliation algorithms, meaning that any error found will be distributed to them. See Example for Rundown Stream Distribution from Feed Stream.
-
Missing Flow Exist: This option is available only when Auto Correction for Missing Flow is enabled on the DR Solver tab of the Options dialog box.
The default value of Auto Correction for Missing Flow is disabled, therefore, in the usual case, the Missing Flow Exist setting will be ignored. More information about Auto Correction for Missing Flow is explained in DR Solver options for missing flow detection. Enabling this setting will normally apply to new events that are generated, but if you want to apply this setting to existing event data, click the command button
next to the checkbox.
