AVEVA™ Production Accounting

DataBase menu

  • Last UpdatedFeb 28, 2025

The DataBase menu contains options for the database connection.

Difference between Delete in Edit menu and Delete in DataBase menu

  • Delete in Edit: Delete the event data in the active model; in other words, delete the event data in memory. The data in the database is left unchanged. For example, assume that you delete all the event data for the active model by using Edit > Delete Current Event Data > All and then exit AVEVA Production Accounting without saving. When you start AVEVA Production Accounting again, you will see the event data again.

  • Delete in DataBase: Delete the event data in the database for the active model. The event data of the window in memory is left unchanged. For example, assume you delete the current event data within the current period by using Database|Delete Current|All and then exit AVEVA Production Accounting without saving. When you start AVEVA Production Accounting again, you will see there is no event data within the current period.
