Object search area

You can search for an object using the search field on the right side of the standard toolbar.

Part of AVEVA Production Accounting power is the ease with which you can deal with large configurations. Being able to find a desired configuration object is an important part of that.

The following procedure describes how to search for an object:

1. In the object search dropdown combo box, enter the name for the required object such as, STATML.

2. Select the dropdown arrow icon.

   A list appears displaying available objects starting with STATML.

   You can restrict the object type from the All dropdown on the left.

3. You can perform one of the following actions:

   • Select the required object from the list of options in the objects dropdown combo box.

   • Enter the full name of the object and press Enter.

   

   The selected object is highlighted in the middle of the Drawing Window.
