Enter and view data for nodes

Use the node tool to create a Node object representing any standard continuous node that does not have a volume associated with it. The Node object dialog box is exactly the same as the Process object dialog box.

Note Node objects provide the same functionality as Process objects, but for clarity when building your flowsheet, use Node objects for confluences and divergences of streams where no processing is being applied to the physical stream.
