The Configuration Manager is a centralized repository for all configurations that allows easy migration to a DB backed storage and a unified API of applications. A modular system allows the Configuration Manager to deal with all the myriad configuration formats to provide backwards compatibility and a clear migration path. The Configuration Manager can be used by all applications that make use of the CAF addins.
