The Managed Hole may have been created to allow access to an object in the model. If this object is deleted from the model you may want to be alerted so that you can check to see if the hole is still required. You can associate an element in the model with the managed hole on the Associated Elements tab.

The Current association items list displays the items currently associated with the managed hole.
Pick Items allows you to select one or more items to add to the list. Remove selected item allows you to remove selected elements from the association, except for the Primary Panel and the Hole Reference.
Click OK on the window to create an entry in the Hole Management system.
The next step is to change the status of each new penetration to Requested using the Hole Management window described previously.
