Description:

The SELECT command chooses a Component and its ‘Leave’ Tube from the Branch Specification. Selecting the default Specification Component allows Model to choose the appropriate item. This is based upon information Model can obtain from the Design and from ‘default’ controls within the Specification. Default Selection is particularly applicable to common fittings such as FLANGEs, GASKETs, ELBOWs The information automatically determined from the current element and its surroundings is as follows:

SPECIFICATION

Obtained from the PSPE attribute of the Branch.

(ARRIVE) BORE

Obtained from the (Leave) bore of the Previous element (reverse in Backwards Mode).

ANGLE, HEIGHT, RADIUS

Obtained from the corresponding Current Element attributes.

SHOP

Obtained from the corresponding Current Element attribute.

TEMPERATURE, PRESSURE

Obtained from the corresponding Branch attributes.
