Animation and Colour Display Options

Sets the default animation, colours, axis options and crosshair options.

Animation

  1. Select the Animate zoom changes check box to animate zoom changes.

  2. Move the Animation Time (seconds) slider to define the animation duration.

Colours

You can specify custom colours for various elements of the application's interface.

  1. Select the element to modify from the list and click Modify to display the Color window.

    The Color window allows you to define and select the colour for the currently selected element.

    Basic colors

    Select a basic colour on the palette.

    Custom colors

    Select a custom colour on the palette

    Crosshair

    Move the crosshair to specify a colour on the palette.

    Slider

    Move the slider to specify a colour.

    Hue, Sat, Lum

    Input values in the fields to specify the colour values explicitly.

    Red, Green, Blue

    Input values in the fields to specify the colour values explicitly.

    Add to Custom Colors

    Click to add the currently selected colour to the Custom colors palette.

  2. Click OK to apply the colour or Cancel to discard any changes and close the Color Window.

    Axis Options

    You can specify the size and position of the Axis icon.

    • Select the Draw Axis Icon check box to display the Axis Icon in the viewport.

    Crosshair Colour Mode

    You can control the appearance of the crosshair.

    1. Select the RGB option button to display the crosshair in colour mode, the X axis is red, the Y axis is green and the Z axis is blue.

    2. Select the Grayscale option button to display the crosshair in grayscale mode.

    3. Move the Crosshair size slider to define the size of the crosshair.

    4. Click Reset to restore the default configuration settings. Refer to Reset Configuration for further information.

    5. Click Apply to update the selected settings.
