Manipulate View

Right-clicking inside a 3D View window displays a menu giving you access to functions needed to set-up and manipulate the view.

Zoom To

  • Selection

The selected graphical element zooms to fill the view.

  • Identify Element

Centres the view on an identified element in the graphics, and zooms the view such that the identified element fills the view.

  • Entire Drawlist

Centres the view on the centre point of the entire drawlist and zooms the view so that all the elements in the display list fill the view.

Walk To

  • Selection

The selected graphical element zooms to fill the view.

  • Identify Element

Centres the view on an identified element in the graphics, and zooms the view such that the identified element fills the view.

  • Entire Drawlist

Centres the view on the centre point of the entire drawlist and zooms the view so that all the elements in the display list fill the view.

Look

Changes the orientation of the view to a preset view, North, South, East, West, Up or Down.

Plan

Changes the orientation of the view to a preset view, North, South, East or West.

Isometric

Changes the orientation of the view to a preset isometric view, Iso 1, Iso 2, Iso 3 or Iso 4.

Set Centre of View

  • Selection

Centres the view on the graphical selection.

  • Identify Element

Centres the view on a picked element.

  • Screen Pick

Centres the view on a picked position within the view.

Note: The picked position can be in free space.

Cancel

Returns to its original state.
