When the DESC attribute of the SOLI element is not a Staad Pro built-in name, then it is assumed to be a user defined Staad Pro material. Elements (indicated as boxes in the example) may need to be created under the SOLI element, and the attributes of the created elements (indicated as ellipses in the example) must also be set:
