To guarantee that a user will be able to revert a report to its previous state, a backup copy must be created. The report can then be restored to this state in case something goes wrong while is being subsequently edited.
To save a copy of a report, select File > Save or press CTRL+S. The report will then be saved in the application's current folder. The path to a report will be displayed in Reporting's title bar.

To manually specify the folder to save a report to, select File > Save As from the main menu, which will display the standard Save File window.
To load a saved report, click File > Open in the main menu, or press CTRL+O. The standard Open File window is then displayed, which will allow the user to locate and open the report.
