Split Handrails

Splits the handrail assembly when it intersects with another element or graphical aid in the 3D view and as a result creates new handrail elements.

Note:
It is not possible to split a handrail where it changes direction.

If the CE is not a handrail element, a message window displays:

If the CE is a handrail element, a Confirm window displays:

Click Yes, you are prompted to Pick element or aid graphic to split handrail.

Click No to discard any inputs and close the Confirm window.

Once the element is selected the handrail is split either side of the picked element or graphical aid. Two handrails now display in the Model Explorer.

Note:
Panel handrails and handrails created in Layout can only be split with the use of the Split Handrails functionality.
