Import DXF File

MicroStation has basic facilities for the importation of DXF files. The user has the chance to do this when invoking MicroStation or if already running MicroStation then the Edit > Import menu would be used.

During import the user could be invited to change various parameters to do with the control of DXF/DGN translations. Initially at least these should be ignored and the DXF file simply opened to observe the results.
