Updates the current owner for all design elements, annotations, laser elements or reference grid annotations on the current sheet.

To update the current owner for all design elements and laser data on the current sheet, in the Drawing group, click Design and select Current Owner from the drop-down list.

To update the current owner for all annotations on the current sheet, in the Drawing group, click Annotation and select Current Owner from the drop-down list.

To update the current owner for all reference grid annotations on the current sheet, in the Grid Annotations group, click Update and select Current Owner from the drop-down list. Modifications to the reference grid annotations are retained.

To update the current owner and regenerate all reference grid annotations on the current sheet, in the Grid Annotations group, click Regenerate and select Current Owner from the drop-down list. The reference grid annotations are regenerated to match the 3D model. Modifications to reference grid annotations are overwritten.

To update the current owner for all automatically generated labels on the current sheet, in the Tagging group, click Update and select Current Owner from the drop-down list. Modifications to the automatically generated labels are retained.

To update the current owner and regenerate all automatically generated labels on the current sheet, in the Tagging group, click Regenerate and select Current Owner from the drop-down list. The automatically generated labels are regenerated to match the 3D model. Modifications to automatically generated labels are overwritten.
Notes: The changes are applied automatically if
is set on the Status Bar.
If the design elements are updated on a view with an unset ID list reference, a warning displays in the message log. If the WARNINGS ON command is issued using the Command Window, a warning is issued if the ID list reference is set, but points to an empty ID list.
