Sending Messages to Other Users

You can send messages to other users of the project using the MESSAGE command.

Messages sent using the MESSAGE command will only be displayed to users already in the project when the command is given, and then only when they next change modules. You can send messages to the following:

• An individual user, specified by name or identifier

• All members of a specified team

• All active project users

• All users logged into a given host

• All users with a given line number

The text of the message must be enclosed in quotes. For example:

MESS TEAM PIPING 'LATEST PIPE ROUTING HAS BEEN APPROVED'

Note: The message must be enclosed in quotes.
