Running the Global Daemon with LaaS

To run the Global daemon with LaaS, the following environment variables are required.

AVEVA_LICENSE_SERVER_LIST will use a URL instead of port@hostname

for example, AVEVA_LICENSE_SERVER_LIST=https://some-license-address.com

AVEVA_CONNECT_SERVER_LOCATION=C:\Program Files x86)\AVEVA\

GlobalSere3.8\Aveva.Connect.Sdk.Daemon

Make sure the associated Global Licenses (GLOBAL/ GLOBALSAT) are present in the associated AVEVA Connect account.

Run the daemon. If authorisation is unsuccessful, the daemon will terminate with an appropriate error.
