Use the functionality available for selection on the Drawing Options tab to define the options for the drawing.
The Drawing Options tab is used to set up the Drawing Departments and Registries, this must be done before drawings are produced for the first time. The selected options are saved to a file for subsequent drawings.
The Sketch Naming Options can be used to create various types of drawing.The example displays a drawing with an isometric overlay which is produced using Isodraft.
The example displays a drawing using a different type of backing sheet. Isodraft is not used to produce the drawing.

Dept. Name |
Enter a name to be used for the Department (DEPT) element. |

Regi. Name |
Enter a name for the Registry (REGI) element. |

Using DESI Hierarchy |
Select the check box to use the zone and site elements, in the Model Explorer, as the Dept. Name and Regi. Name elements for the created pipe spool drawing. |

Naming Rule File Path |
Displays the file path for the naming rule file. The user can navigate to a different location. The naming rule file can consist of:

Result File Path |
Displays the file path for the created pipe spool drawing and associated drawing data. The user can navigate to a different location. |

Template Registry |
Select a pipe spool drawing template from the drop-down list. |

Drawing Template |
Select a drawing template from the drop-down list. The format and sheet size are determined for the created pipe spool drawing. |
|
Maximum Saved Revisions |
Enter the permissible number of revisions for the spool drawing. The recommended value is 1. |

Maximum Drawings Per Registry |
Enter the permissible number of drawings per registry. The minimum allowable value is 100 and the maximum allowable value is 1000. The default value is 1000. |

Run Spool Name Check on loading Spools |
Select the check box to check all registries for duplicate spool drawings when the pipe spool drawing is created. A Warning message displays:
Deselect the check box to ignore all duplicate spool drawings when the pipe spool drawing is created. A Warning message displays:

Preview |
A preview of the drawing template displays on the right side of the Pipe Spool Drawing window. |
The Error List tab displays any errors encountered during the creation of the pipe spool drawing. To display the error list, select the Error List tab.
