Draw Hexagon with Specified Centre to Point Radius

Draws a hexagon with a specified radius from the centre to one of its edge points.

  1. You are prompted Specify the centre point or <Diameter>

  2. Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the centre point of the hexagon.

  3. You are then prompted to Specify the radius or

  4. Input a value in the dimension field and press Enter or click to identify a corner of the hexagon.

  5. A hexagon is drawn and the command ends automatically.

  6. Throughout the hexagon creation process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

    Diameter

    Press the down arrow key and select Diameter to draw a hexagon with a specified point to point diameter. Refer to Draw Hexagon with Specified Point to Point Diameter for further information.

    Median

    Press the down arrow key and select Median to draw a hexagon with a specified radius from the centre to one of its sides. Refer to Draw Hexagon with Specified Centre to Side Radius for further information.

    Back

    Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action.

The new NOTE element displays in the Draw Explorer containing a HEXA element.
