AVEVA AIM Gateway for AVEVA IE&D

Use the AVEVA AIM Gateway for AVEVA IE&D (gateway) to create configurations and export data from AVEVA E3D Design to AVEVA AIM. The gateway processes and converts data from AVEVA E3D Design into a compatible file format that can be imported into AVEVA AIM.

Using the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process, the gateway extracts the required information from the Dabacon database of AVEVA E3D Design, applies the required mappings and then filters and displays it in AVEVA AIM. For this purpose, the gateway creates an XML-based file called the Engineering Information and Workflow Model (EIWM) that contains information related to the exported elements. If graphical data is generated for the exported items, the gateway also creates an RVM file. The EIWM and RVM files can be imported into AVEVA AIM using the Import Controller.
