Copying Global Projects

  • Last UpdatedFeb 16, 2024

Global projects may be copied. Facilities are provided to:

  • Replicate the complete Global project, including all data (except the ISO subdirectories), to a new project.

  • Replicate the structure of a Global project to file.

  • This is achieved using the REPLICATE command.

  • For full details of the REPLICATE command, see the Administrator Command Reference Manual.

    Note:
    It is very important to make sure that the replicated project has a different project UUID to the original project, otherwise the Daemon will not run correctly.
    The UUID for the project is stored in the ADUUID attribute of /*GL.
    If this is unset or has not been changed use the NEWUID attribute:
    /*GL
    !NEW=NEWUID
    ADUUID ‘$!NEW’
