With the Highlighting tab selected, define the colors used in the component list when selecting components from the list. Once a highlighting color scheme has been defined this is restored upon re-entry into the discipline.

The Highlighting tab on the Modify Components window, displays:

Component:

Defines the color of the selected component in the list.

Tube:

Defines the color of the selected tube in the list.

No Specification:

Defines the color of the selected component in the list, when there is no specification.

Component in Limbospec

Defines the color of the selected component when its in limbospec. (If a SPEC or SPCOM is removed, the data held within it is transferred to a special archive Specification named /*LIMBOSPEC. The data still exists, so that references to it are still valid, but it no longer forms part of the original named SPEC).

Invalid pipng spec

Defines the color of selected component when its has an invalid pipe spec.

Successfully Selected New Specification:

Defines the color of the selected component in the list, when a new specification has been found.

Failed to Select New Specification:

Defines the color of the selected component in the list, when a new specification can be found.

Reset to Defaults

Returns the highlight colors to the default settings.

To change any of the highlighted colors, click the color to be changed to display a color selection window.

Note: The name of this window changes depending on which of the colors is selected on the Modify Components window. For example:

By default, the Highlighting Color window is displayed with a limited selection of colors, to extend the color selection, click More.

Select the required highlighting color, then click Reset, once set the color palette changes to that color and the highlighting is changed in the component list.

Specific highlighting can also be turned On and Off using the radio buttons next to each highlighting color palette.

Note: The highlighting defaults are loaded if no highlighting scheme can be retrieved upon entering the PIPING discipline.
