The functionality available from the DIAGRAM VIEWER tab provides interaction with diagrams.
Select Elements in the Diagram Viewer
Single or multiple elements of the main object type (as currently listed in the Main Table) can be selected in the diagram. The same elements are automatically selected in the main table. To select a single object, left click on it, to select multiple elements, hold down the SHIFT key and click each object. With the SHIFT key held down, clicking a second time on an object deselects it.
Note: Clicking on a schematic tube in the diagram selects the SCPLIN. Shift click on a schematic tube selects the SCTUB element. This can be useful when navigating the schematic database to investigate issues in the data, especially when there are a number of tees in a line.
Zoom In
Increases the magnification in the Diagram Viewer.
While in the Diagram Viewer you can also zoom in by pressing and holding the CTRL key down on the keyboard. The cursor changes to the zoom in symbol.
Zoom Out
Decreases the magnification in the Diagram Viewer.
While in the Diagram Viewer you can also zoom out by pressing and holding the CTRL and SHIFT keys down together on the keyboard. The cursor changes to the zoom out symbol.
Zoom to Selection
Zooms to an item selected in the Diagram Viewer.
Zoom to Window
Increases the magnification of an area as specified by a rectangular window.
Auto Zoom
Toggles Auto Zoom On/Off
Pan
While in the Diagram Viewer you can also pan across the drawing by pressing and holding the ALT key. The cursor changes to a pan (hand) symbol.
Print Diagram
Opens a print dialog box allowing a diagram to be printed.
Settings
Opens the Settings window which you can use to control the display settings for the Diagram Viewer:

Use the Highlighting part of the Settings window to change the selection and mouse over colors for the diagram viewer. These colors may require changing from the defaults if the diagram is already colored such that highlighting and selection are not clear. To change a color, click the color box and choose another color from the Selection Colour window.

The Tabs Layout part of the Settings window controls where the diagram tab appears, the number of recent diagrams remembered and the number of tabs that can be displayed simultaneously.

The Set CE from diagram option controls whether the current element tracks the currently selected element object.
Note:
These settings are per user and project and are saved automatically between sessions
Change Highlighting
Displays changes made to schematic diagrams between selected sessions.
See Highlight changes in schematic diagrams for further information.
Set BookMark
Records current view status and sets a bookmark.
Previous Bookmark
Sets the view to the status recorded in the previous bookmark.
Next Bookmark
Sets the view to the status recorded in the next bookmark.
Remove Bookmark
Removes the currently set bookmark.
Clear All Bookmarks
Removes all the bookmarks.
Attributes
The Attribute Configuration window displays the element attributes that are to be considered when comparing diagrams in different sessions and any highlighting changes can be specified. See Attribute Configuration for further information.
Highlight Colors
Use the Highlight Colour Configuration window to change the colors used to highlight changes between sessions. See Highlight Color Configuration for further information.
Diagram Viewer Menu
The Diagram Viewer right click menu options become available when one or more elements are selected in the Diagram Viewer.
The View on Other Diagram option is available for selection if the selected object is available on more than one diagram.

Compare |
Compares the 3D element and schematic element for inconsistencies, refer to Compare for further information. |

View Report |
Displays the integrator report after another comparison has been carried out. |

Create Integrator Limit Point |
Creates Integrator Limit Points on the schematic and in the database, refer to Integrator Limit Points for further information. |

Delete Integrator Point |
Deletes Integrator Points from the schematic and the database, refer to Integrator Limit Points for further information. |
|
Identify Area |
To highlight the portion of the pipeline delimited by limit points and pipeline ends. |
|
Build XXXX |
Builds a missing element, refer to Build a Missing Element for further information. |
|
Link |
Link 3D and schematic elements, refer to Schematic and 3D Links for further information. |
|
Unlink |
Unlinks 3D and schematic elements, refer to Schematic and 3D Links for further information. |

Reset Diagram Colors |
Clears the highlighting on all currently open diagrams, see Reset All Colors below for further information. |
Diagram Viewer Background Menu
Right-click on the background of the Diagram Viewer to display the diagram viewer background menu.

Compare Diagram |
Compares the diagram against it 3D counterpart |

Reset Colors |
Clears the highlighting on the currently open diagram, see Reset All Colors below for further information. |

Hide Integrator Limit Points |
Hides Integrator Limit Points on the currently open diagram, refer to Integrator Limit Points for further information. |

Print Diagram |
Prints the currently displayed diagram including any color highlighting |

Save Diagram as PDF file |
Saves the diagram in pdf format. |
|
Zoom To Window |
Zooms out to the extents of the diagram. |

Close Diagram |
Closes the diagram. |
Reset All Colors
To clear the highlighting on the currently displayed diagram, select Reset Diagram Colours from the diagram viewer background menu or on all currently opened diagrams, on the Integrator tab, on the Diagram group, select Reset All Colors.
