Label Alignment

Horizontally or vertically aligns labels and text annotations.

  1. You are prompted to Specify alignment mode <Vertical>

  2. Input V at the prompt and press Enter to align the labels vertically.

  3. You are then prompted to Select extended mode <Standard>

  4. Input S at the prompt and press Enter to align the labels using the standard format. The angle of each leader line is not preserved.

  5. You are then prompted to Select model label

  6. Click to identify the label to align others to.

  7. You are then prompted to Select labels to align

  8. Click to identify the labels to align and press Enter.

  9. The labels are aligned to the model label.

  10. Throughout the label align process the user can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

    Vertical

    Press the down arrow key and select Vertical to align labels vertically.

    Horizontal

    Press the down arrow key and select Horizontal to align labels horizontally.

    Standard

    Press the down arrow key and select Standard to align labels with the angle of the leader lines preserved.

    Extend

    Press the down arrow key and select Extend to align labels with the angle of the leader lines preserved.

    Only labels can be aligned in extended mode. The Connection point offset field in the Properties window must be set to Origin.

    Back

    Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action.

The model labels are aligned.
