Splice Section at Panel Intersection

Splices sections at a panel intersection.

1. You are prompted to Pick element(s) to splice

   Note: The prompt does not display if the section element is already selected.

2. Click to identify a section to splice.

3. You are then prompted to Pick element(s) to splice or <Next>

   Note: The prompt does not display if the section element is already selected.

4. The prompt is repeated, allowing you to identify multiple sections to splice.

5. Input N at the prompt and press Enter to specify the splice point.

6. You are then prompted to Pick panel to splice with or <Plane>

7. Click to identify an intersecting panel to define a splice point.

8. The sections are spliced at the intersecting panel points.

9. Throughout the splice process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

   Next	Press the down arrow key and select Next to proceed to the next splice process.
   Plane	Press the down arrow key and select Plane to splice a section using a plane. Refer to Splice Section using a Plane for further information.

The new GENSEC elements display in the Model Explorer.
