Move Branch Segment

Use to move a cableway segment to a new position, re-route cables and re-dress materials.

• Identify Segment: Identifies the segment to be moved, click Pick a prompt to ‘Pick on the segment to be moved’ is displayed. The name of the ‘picked’ segment and the allowed offset direction are automatically displayed.

• Offset: Specifies the offset and increment, alternatively select Align the prompt ‘Pick to define position’ is displayed, pick a position to align in the 3D view.

• Re-route Cables: Use to define if cables are re-routed.

• Re-dress Materials: Use to define if cableways are re-dressed automatically.

• Display Hole Manager: Displays the Hole Manager.

• Show issues: Displays any issues which arise as a result of the move, the grid is automatically populated with all route attachment points (associated items), type and status.

  

• Move Segment: Use to move the selected segment to the new location.

• Cables: Right click on a cable to display a popup menu:

  Navigate		Navigates to the selected cable in the model explorer
  Highlight		Highlights the selected cable in the 3D view
  Unhighlight		Removes the highlight from the cable in the 3D view
  3D View
  	Add Cable	Adds the selected cable to the 3D view
  	Add Connected	Adds the connection to the selected cable to the 3D view
  	Remove Cable	Removes the selected cable from the 3D view
  	Remove Connected	Removes the connection from the 3D view
  Export to Excel		Exports the cable grid data to Excel
  Print Preview		Opens the Print Preview window

• Branch: Right click on a branch to display a popup menu:

  Navigate		Navigates to the selected branch in the model explorer
  Highlight		Highlights the selected branch in the 3D view
  Unhighlight		Removes the highlight from the branch in the 3D view
  3D View
  	Add Branch	Adds the selected branch to the 3D view
  	Remove Branch	Removes the branch from the 3D view
  Export to Excel		Exports the branch grid data to Excel
  Print Preview		Opens the Print Preview window

• Rnode or Ratta: Right click on a Rnode or Ratta to display a pop-up menu:

  Navigate		Navigates to the selected Rnode or Ratta in the model explorer
  Highlight		Highlights the selected Rnode or Ratta in the 3D view
  Unhighlight		Removes the highlight from the Rnode or Ratta in the 3D view
  3D View
  	Add Branch	Adds the selected Rnode or Ratta to the 3D view
  	Remove Branch	Removes the Rnode or Ratta from the 3D view
  Export to Excel		Exports the Rnode or Ratta grid data to Excel
  Print Preview		Opens the Print Preview window
