Material Category Mapping

Use the functionality available from the Material Category Mappings window to create a mapping between the material type in AVEVA Catalogue™ and AVEVA ERM.

Export to Excel

Use to export a material category mappings file to Excel for use in AVEVA ERM.

The location of the file from where the mappings are currently loaded is displayed. The Material Category Mappings window is populated with all the mappings available in the file at that location.

Find

Use to find an ERM Material Type, first enter the required ERM Material Type in the field.

Copy

Use to copy the currently selected mapping in the Material Category Mappings window.

Select BLTA

Auto Generate Mapping

Use to generate the mappings automatically. For each CATE or PRTELE, one ERM Material Type is generated and the Material Type is set. Also, CATE or PRTELE are flagged with M/NM (mapped, not mapped).

Further, based on the value entered in the Material Type Auto Generate PML field from the Import & Material Mappings Settings tab, the ERM Material Type names are created.
