Trim Objects to Intersecting Objects

Trims an object to an intersecting object.

1. You are prompted to Select borders for trim

2. Click to identify the objects to trim to and press Enter.

   

3. You are then prompted to Select entity to trim or <Finish>

4. Click to identify the objects to trim.

   

5. The selected objects are trimmed.

6. The prompt is repeated, allowing you to trim multiple objects.

7. Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.

8. Throughout the trim process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

   Crossing	Press the down arrow key and select Crossing to select objects using a selection box.
   Edge	Press the down arrow key and select Edge to trim objects to extrapolated edges. Refer to Trim Objects to Extrapolated Edges for further information.
   Delete	Press the down arrow key and select Delete to delete an object.
   Back	Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action.
   Finish	Press the down arrow key and select Finish to end the command.
